Montenegro: Freedom of the press and of speech a priority

Budva, October 23, 2012 (ANSAmed) - ''For the countries of southeastern Europe, freedom of the press and freedom of speech are a priority,'' said Montenegro's president Filip Vujanovic in his opening remarks at the sixth South East Europe Media Forum (SEEFM) this afternoon in Budva. The forum - organised by the South East Europe Organisation (SEEMO), the Central European Initiative (CEI) and the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung South East Europe Media Programme - will analyse the challenges of journalism in new media. Over 150 journalists from 20 countries are taking part in the conference.
