RBA and RATEL reached agreement on digitalization

Belgrade, September 17, 2011. (Danas) - RBA and RATEL harmonized their stands on issues of illegal broadcasting, digitalization of TV program and obligation of broadcasting the program of Serbian broadcasters through cable systems, it was announced yesterday. The members of RBA council and the RATEL Managing Board expressed their concerns over the fact that the inspection control of using the radio-frequency spectrum has not started after one year since the Law on Electronic Communication was adopted. They are also concerned over the fact that a number of illegal broadcasters has increased over the last months.
