Velimir Ilic did not appear for trial

Belgrade, October 6, 2011 (Dnevnik) - Hearing on the complaint filed by Vladimir Jesic in 2011 against the president of Nova Srbija Velimir Ilic was again postponed yesterday. The hearing in the Basic Court in Novi Sad was postponed after Ilic's attorneys had requested the disqualification of the acting judge. As it was the case with previous hearings, Velimir Ilic did not appear at the court. Jesic's attorneys requested from the court to finally complete this proceeding.  Jesic sued Ilic for a physical attack on him during the interview for Novi Sad TV "Apolo". Vladimir Jesic said that this case proved that there were double standards in Serbia - for politicians and citizens.
