Prosecutor's Office given up the complaint against "Nacionalni"
Novi Sad, October 24, 2011. (Dnevnik) - Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data, Rodoljub Sabic, estimated that the Republic Prosecutor's decision to give up the complaint against the "Nacionalni gradjanski"'s journalist was a professional and responsible action.
The Prosecutor will not continue the legal procedure against journalist of "Nacionalni gradjanski" on the basis of indictment by the Novi Sad Prosecutor's Office. Instead of it, the investigation in relation to other unidentified officials for revealing secrets will be expanded.
Sabic said that he was pleased by the fact that the Republic Prosecutor had confirmed the recognition of standards of freedom of the press and the right of the public that in force in the democratic world.
