SABIC - only candidate for COMMISSIONER
Belgrade, December 1, 2011. (Politika) - Parliamentary Committee for Culture and Information will today determine the list of nominations for the position of the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection, and the only candidate is the current Commissioner Rodoljub Sabic.
According to the Law on Free Access to Information, the Serbian Assembly elects the Commissioner on the proposal of the Committee for Culture and Information, which is the sole authority to initiate the election of the Commissioner. Same person for that office may be elected twice for a mandate of seven years.
