Investigation of threats to journalists
Nis, January 13, 2012. (Blic) - Nis Society of Journalists (DNN) has welcomed the initiation of proceedings against Dejan Brankovic due to threatening correspondent of "Politika" and "Sportski zurnal" from Nis, Tomi Todorovic. Brankovic is suspected of sending Todorovic SMSes with insulting content. For this offense, imprisonment of one to eight years is envisaged. "Given that the suspect is a representative of FK Radnicki, we call the club to give its statement on this event," it is said in DNN statement.
