TV AVALA STAFF DEMAND ANSWERS

Belgrade, Decembar 28, 2011 (B92) - TV Avala employees, who went into strike seven days ago, say that they have not yet been addressed by any of the owners of this media company.

They remind that the general manager of television announced the meeting of the Managing Board on Tuesday, December 27. However, the employees still have no information if anyone has taken any position on their demands to be paid outstanding salaries.

It is still unknown whether the owners will meet at all with employees' representatives. The TV station's management has been negotiating with employees only on minimum work process, but not on payment of back wages, say the employees in strike on TV Avala.

TV Avala staff continues the strike that started on December 22, observing the minimum work process as agreed with the general manager Bojana Lekic. The station broadcasts program and advertising blocks, in line with legal regulations.

Representatives of TV staff will hold the press conference on Thursday, December 29 at noon, at the International Press Centre, Knez Mihailova 6.
