Football hooligan extradited to Serbia

Belgrade, February, 22, 2012. (B92) - Partizan fan leader Miloš Radisavljević aka Kimi, who was arrested in Macedonia yesterday, was extradited to Serbia during the night. 

Macedonian police have announced they will release details and recording of his arrest on Wednesday.

Radisavljević was in August 2010 sentenced to 16 months in prison for violent behavior and endangering B92 reporter Brankica Stanković's safety. He and a group of hooligans chanted "You are dangerous snake and will end up like Ćuruvija" (a murdered Serbian journalist) during a football game.

The fans kicked and stabbed a doll representing the B92 reporter.

The Court of Appeals quashed the part of the verdict which refers to endangering of Stanković's safety on July 11, 2011 but the six-month sentence for violent behavior was confirmed.

The Court of Appeals stated that the songs about the B92 reporter were highly insulting and disturbing.

According to the court, there was no convincing evidence to support the claim that Radisavljević had endangered her safety and ordered a re-trial.

Radisavljević is also charged with setting a Belgrade mosque on fire in March 2004.
