Alarming situation in Svetlost weekly

Kragujevac, February 28, 2012. (Pregled) - The situation in Kragujevac weekly "Svetlost" is alarming and it is close to bankruptcy proceedings, the president of the Union of Journalists of Serbia Dragan Cabarkapa said yesterday.

Cabarkapa said that the value of its assets is 31 million dinars, while the total debt is 50 million dinars and the employer owes around eight million dinars for employees' salaries and nine for contributions. "The situation is difficult and we seek a solution together with Belgrade lawyers, but we think that political decision is what is important here", said Cabarkapa.
