15 LOCATIONS READY FOR BROADCASTING

Belgrade, March 3, 2012 (Danas) - At the yesterday's meeting in the Republic Broadcasting Agency, attended by representatives of the Public Company "Broadcasting Equipment and Communications", Ministry of Culture and RATEL, TV broadcasters were introduced to the plan of initial network for testing digital signal broadcasting in Serbia.

Before the beginning of the test broadcasting of digital signal, the Public Company "Broadcasting Equipment and Communications", as an operator and broadcaster, presented to broadcasters 15 signal broadcasting locations throughout Serbia and informed them about the necessary technical requirements and contract on multiplex services providing, distribution and broadcasting in the test network.

"After obtaining technical licenses, conditions will be created for the start of broadcasting of digital TV program. It is expected shortly after that the first digital test signal would be on air", it was announced yesterday after the meeting.
