IT'S HARD TO FIND A SOLUTION FOR RTS
Belgrade, July 26, 2012. (Novi Magazin) - In the first half of 2012, RTS has collected only 36 percent of TV fee, which is a decrease in relation to previous year. The highest percantage of collection rate was recorded in 2007 - 59.2 %. Additional problem for the public service is forthcoming reorganization of the EPS and its division into units, making the current system of fee payment via electricity bill practically unfeasible. Economic viability of public service is guaranteed only by 80 % of collection rate, with the social program for 1,000 redundancies and part-time employees, along with keeeping current income from marketing.
