POLITIKA AND NOVOSTI UNIONS: WHO ARE THE REAL OWNERS OF MEDIA
Belgrade, August 22, 2012 (Politika) - Several unions of staff in Politika and Novosti urged the Serbian Government yesterday to reveal publicly the real owners of these dailies as soon as possible, and to announce its plans for preventing their further decline and financial deterioration.
"The employees have the right to complete information on legal, economic and social consequences to their situation. The unions demand that the accountability of the managements of Politika and Novosti, awarded with sky-high salaries, for the disastrous financial position of the workers", says in the joint statement of the unions.
