I WILL FIGHT FOR FREEDOM OF MEDIA
Belgrade, August 21, 2012 (Press) - Deputy Culture Minister Dragan Kolarovic, who will be heading the sector for media, told Press yesterday that he would fight for the improvement of the situation in the media.
Kolarovic assumed his position yesterday and spent his first day in the office in meeting the staff and getting familiar with the issues he would be dealing with in the upcoming period.
"I am well acquainted with the situation in the media and all I can say is that media are sharing the fate of the society. I would welcome new ideas on how to improve the current situation and I would personally advocate for more freedom and better financial situation of journalists", Kolarovic told Press.
