Situation in media to change for the better as soon as possible

Novi Sad, October 31, 2012. (Beta) - Vojvodina Secretary for Culture and Public Information Slavisa Grujic and Deputy Chairman of the Republic Broadcasting Agency Goran Karadzic stated today that the situation in the media must have been changed for the better as soon as possible.

According to the statement of the Secretariat, Grujic and Karadzic concluded that Europe can no longer wait for the adoption of new strategy for media development in Serbia and media laws, which has been delayed for a long time.

The two officials discussed the issue of participation of Vojvodina in the working body for the development of the Strategy, as well as participation in the upcoming consultations on continuance of media reforms, which will be held in Arandjelovac, on November 3.

The collection of TV subscription was another topic of their conversation, as well as the forthcoming digitization of media.
