RTS sues citizens in areas without TV signal

Gornji Milanovac, November 6, 2012. (Politika) - Citizens of Boljkovac near Gornji Milanovac regularly receive admonition by Radio Television of Serbia to settle up their subscription debt, even though this area has been without TV signal more than 30 years, members of the local community council said.

President of the Council Predrag Stojic told Beta that citizens of this local community were officially informed by RTS that they had no obligation to pay TV fee since the village could not receive the signal without the construction of additional towers.

Boljkovci has 430 inhabitants and all expressed readiness to protest in front of RTS if this situation continues.
