Trade union: to review financial operations of RTV
Novi Sad, November 8, 2012. (Blic) - Trade union of the Radio Television of Vojvodina (RTV) and its employees concluded at today's meeting that the situation in the provincial public service was unsustainable, and requested from competent authorities to review financial operations of the broadcaster.
In order to stabilize RTV, urgent measures are needed - it is pointed out in the statement of the trade union of RTV, a subsidiary unit of the Union of Journalists of Serbia, and some employees.
Arrival of new management and bringing B92 laid-off journalists to managerial positions contributed to the collapse of RTV - it is said in the statement.
