Union of Discographers of Serbia urges Government to help Serbian music industry

Belgrade, December 11.2012. (Informer) - Union of Discographers of Serbia (UDS) urges the Government to pass a law that would introduce obligation for broadcasters to play a minimum of 50 percent of local music! Namely, with the goal to preserve Serbian musical heritage.

Rodoljub Stojanovic, Union's General Secretary said: "We sent a request to the Ministry of Education and the Committee for Education to include our amendment to the Copyright Law. We want to support domestic production so that it can be developed."
