URGENT DISCUSSION ON RTS COMMITTEE MEMBERS

Belgrade, December 18, 2012 (Blic) - Serbian Parliament's Culture and Information Committee has compiled a list of candidates for members to the Programming Committee of RTS and suggested that this issue should be urgently put to agenda.

RTS Programming Committee counts 19 members elected by the Parliament - 7 among MPs and 12 members from the list of candidates proposed by the Republic Broadcasting Agency (RBA), professional associations, scientific institutions, religious communities, civic associations...

The proposed members of parliament are Marija Obradovic (SNS), Djordje Milicevic (SPS), Mira Petrovic (PUPS), Milica Radovic (DSS), Jelena Trivan (DS), Snezana Stojanovic Plavsic (URS) and Bojan Djuric (LDP).

The list of proposed candidates by RBA are the psychologist Jasmina Lekovic, composer Nenad Milosavljevic, designer Marko Vukomanovic, journalist Katarina Ostojic, legal worker Istvan Bodzonija and undergraduate Aleksandra Grkinic, economist Tanja Santrac, professor at the "Singidunum" University Zoran Vujovic, philologist Tanja Dojcinovic, philosopher Dragoljub Kojic, professor Zoran Avramovic and journalist Bratislav Grubacic.
