MISSED CHANCE TO REACT
Belgrade, January 24, 2013 (Danas) - Freedom of media is one of the conditions for getting the candidate status for EU accession, it was said in the office of Culture and Media Minister.
Current Justice Minister, who should be the first to stand up in the fight for human rights, has not found time to act in defense of non-government organizations, as well as media, which have ended up on ominous lists of unfitting and non-patriotic.
Culture Minister has also followed the example of his colleague from the Justice Ministry. Even they have failed to react to attacks on media by right-wing extremist organizations. However, asked why there were no reactions on the above attacks, the current Minister admitted it was an obvious oversight by the Ministry.
