DACIC SUING FOR CANDID CAMERA

Belgrade, January 31, 2013 (Blic) - Serbian Prime Minister Ivica Dacic has filed charges against responsible for the candid camera show he had ended up in, Ivica Toncev told Belgrade daily Blic.

Prime Minister's special advisor for national security said that Dacic had not approved airing of the contentious recorded material.

"The entire case will be thoroughly investigated", Toncev said, adding that the candid camera was nothing more than "mocking to Serbia, not to Prime Minister".

Toncev also said that the people working in the "Nemoguca misija" show (Mission Impossible) aired on TV Kopernikus had abused the trust and friendly attitude of the Prime Minister towards journalists.

"This will never happen again", Toncev said and announced that the Prime Minister would use all legal grounds to sanction those violating the law or journalists' code of conduct.

"The Prime Minister's cabinet will not let this go unpunished", Toncev concluded.
