NO ONE READY TO TESTIFY

Belgrade, February 11, 2013 (Blic) - The investigation of the murder of Slavko Curuvija (49) obtained enough evidence, however, there are still no witnesses willing enough to take the stand and point to executors and those who ordered the murder.

Some important material evidence is collected that almost entirely trow the light on the course of events on April 11, 1999, moments before the murder took place. However, there are no witnesses to confirm these proofs but the evidence confirmed the involvement of the state security agency, the source from the prosecutor's office told daily Blic.

According to the daily, the prosecutor's office has been looking for potential witnesses among the ranks of the then state security agency DB, who were either involved or were acquainted with the operation "Curan", namely the secret surveilance of Curuvija, and who could link the persons ordering the murder and assassins with the evidence collected.
