“AWAKE WITH IVON” TAKEN OFF

Belgrade, February 11, 2013 (Blic) - The Studio B program "Still awake with Ivon", which has been terminated due to financial problems, will return on the air the moment a sponsor shows up with 400.000 dinars to cover monthly costs of this program, director and chief editor of Studio B Aleksandar Timofejev told the daily Blic.

According to Timofejev, the story placed on social media that the program has been removed from the program scheme of the station is deliberately placed there, with the aim to delude the public. "It is not about ending a culture program, but the fact that there is no money for this slot is, unfortunately, and the program costs are around 400 thousand dinars a month", Timofejev said.

Ivon will, however, remain on the station and will be hosting the daily program "Good afternoon, Belgrade" instead of Jugoslav Pantelic, who is currently following Berlin festival.
