NDNV OFFICES BROKEN IN

Novi Sad, February 14, 2013 (NDNV) - Around ten p.m. on Wednesday night, the premises of the Independent Journalists' Association of Vojvodina were broken in Zmaj Jovina Street in downtown of Novi Sad.

The same night, there was also breaking and entering into the premises of the City of Novi Sad Assembly deputies' club, located next to the NDNV offices.

Nothing was stolen from the Association's offices. The burglars broke in through the main entrance door, activating the alarm. However, the security door prevented them from entering deeper past the entry hall into the NUNS premises, and were probably scared off by the sound of alarm.

This has been the sixth time the Association's premises were broken in. The burglary may be related to the recently repeated verbal attacks by extreme right-wing organizations and certain media. NDNV immediately reported the break-in to the police, upon which the investigation was conducted.
