B92 journalist detained for alleged trespassing

Kursumlija, March 14, 2013. (B92, Beta) - B92 journalist was held by Kursumlija police for half an hour due to alleged trespassing to land in the woods at the top of the mountain Radan.

She was among four people who have been detained for questioning after a man from Djake village reported their trespassing to his land and recording without permission.

Representatives of Kuršumlija Directorate for Construction and Radan Cluster were patrolling the mountains in order to mark the damage to the roads, as part of the preparations for the tourist season, while journalist followed their work. They were approached by Radomir Tijanic from Djake who told them he would break the camera if they did not stop recording.

"We moved on and continued our patrolling, but several hours later, we were stopped by the police upon notification of Radomir Tijanic," said director of Radan Cluster, Radovan Tanaskovic.

Police reviewed the recording and except panoramas of Radan, there was no other "forbidden" material.
