OSCE OFFICIAL ATTACKED IN NIS

Nis, March 15, 2013 (Juzne vesti, B92) - Three young men in a kick box club T-shirts attacked an official of the OSCE Mission to Serbia during the public discussion on the Draft Law on Public Information held in Nis yesterday.

As Juzne vesti reported, police reacted in the incident occurring during the public debate, when three young men, who were previously warned to refrain from making loud comments during the discussion, approached a diplomatic official of the OSCE Mission to Serbia, verbally insulting him.

Soon afterwards, the police reacted, followed by the Nis Mayor Zoran Perisic. The discussion on the draft law carried on after a brief interruption.

According to unofficial information, the young men causing the incident may have been invited by a public officer in that town.

The third public debate on the Draft Law on Public Information in Nis, was concluded just before 4 p.m. that day.
