OPIOIDS CALLED “BIG BROTHER” AND “FARM”

Belgrade, April 8, 2014 (Vecernje novosti) - These days, the viral reality shows "Big Brother" and "The Farm" have spread in Serbia and turned people into TV zombies, sedated and alienated from the reality they live in.

Given the content of the programs, in which the participants are threatening each other with death and bragging about having sexual relationship with a minor, the competent authority has reacted several times, according to the RBA Council member, Goran Karadzic.

"The RBA has filed the complaint relative to the programs in with the Prosecutor's Office", Karadzic said.

Because of some participants and their behavior, viewers of these realities in Serbia will now watch the program in delayed broadcasting of several minutes. "There were some slip-ups of broadcasters and we have held several meetings with them to warn them of the consequences if the slip-ups happen again", Goran Karadzic pointed out.
