MIHAJLOVIC TAKES FORMER PRESS JOURNALISTS TO COURT

Belgrade, April 19, 2013 (UNS) - Sinisa Mihajlovic, head coach of the Serbia national football team, filed charges against the publisher of the closed daily Press, its chief editor Djoka Kesic and journalists of the daily Arsenije Soskic and Marko Colic.

Mihajlovic sued the journalists and the publisher of the daily for 1.5 million RSD of damages for injured reputation, honor and dignity in the articles published on October 17 and 18, 2012.

In Mihajlovic's claim, it was stated, "the daily Press has defamed the plaintiff with the series of sited articles, conveying untrue information.

The lawsuit was filed with the Higher Court in Novi Sad.
