JOURNALISTS’ AND MEDIA ASSOCIATIONS ON MEDIA FREEDOM

May 8, 2013 (OSCE) - Marking the World Press Freedom Day, journalists' and media associations and the OSCE Mission to Serbia are organizing press conference on the freedom of media in Serbia, on Friday, May 10, in the Belgrade Media Center (3 Terazije Street, II floor, Main Hall).

Speaking at the press conference " Media Freedom in Serbia: Achievements, threats and trends", representatives of media associations will discuss the current situation and the future of media freedoms in Serbia, as well as the key challenges that media are facing in the process of media reforms.

The speakers at the conference will be: Ljiljana Smajlovic, UNS; Vukasin Obradovic, NUNS; Zoran Sekulic, ASMEDI; Sasa Mirkovic, ANEM; Dinko Gruhonjic, NDNV and Dejan Miladinovic, Local Press.

Moderator of the press conference is Tamara Skrozza, journalists and member of the Press Council's Complaints Commission.
