RTV GENERAL MANAGER RESIGNED

Novi Sad, May 9, 2013 (Mondo) - RTV General Manager Sinisa Isakov has resigned tonight, managing board appointed Srdjan Mihajlovic to the position of acting director.

In his text of resignation, Isakov said that he was not able to carry out the business plan any longer, for which he had been given the support of the managing board when elected general manager.

As Beta news agency finds, Isakov's decision to resign was based on his dissatisfaction with extremely bad financial situation of the broadcaster.

Isakov thanked editors and management he cooperated with and said in the last two years RTV had significantly improved the program and increased audience share.

New general manager of the Vojvodina public service broadcaster Srdjan Mihajlovic was formerly leading the company Transnaft. He was also advisor to the general director of NIS and general manager of Vojvodina Bank.
