MIHAJLOVIC INSTEAD OF ISAKOV

Novi Sad, May 10, 2013 (Politika, Tanjug) - General manager of Radio Television Vojvodina (RTV) Sinisa Isakov resigned from the position, while Srdjan Mihajlovic was appointed acting general manager, said the Chairwoman of the RTV Managing Board Vanja Jokic-Barisic.

She said that Isakov was relieved of his duty on personal request, namely that he had resigned on the position of general manager, at the last session of the RTV managing board.

At the same session, the new competition was called for the director of Radio Television Vojvodina, Jokic-Barisic said, explaining the propositions of the call - the deadline for sending the applications was 15 days. National councils of national minorities will reach final decision within the following 30 days, which means that the entire process of electing new director of the Vojvodina public service broadcaster will last no more than 45 days.
