ENPA GENERAL ASSEMBLY IN BELGRADE

Belgrade, May 23, 2013 (RTV) - The European Newspaper Publishers Association (ENPA) is organizing its general assembly today, Thursday May 23 and tomorrow, Friday May 24, in Belgrade, hosted by the Association of Media.

The ENPA President Ivar Rusdal from Norway will preside over the GA, which will be attended by CEOs of 23 national associations of newspaper publishers of EU member states, as well as CEOs of associations from Norway, Switzerland and Serbia, the organizer stated.

The seminar on the topic of media regulation and self-regulation will precede the GA session, which will anticipate the address of the Head of the Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Serbia Vincent Degert, ENPA President Ivar Rusdal, chairman of the Managing Board of the Association of Media Zoran Sekulic, Secretary General of the European Association of the Press Council, representative from British Association of Journalists and Tijana Bajovic, general manager of the company Ringier Axel Springer.

The adoption of the Charter on Freedom of Press and Pluralism is also anticipated at the Assembly.
