Cacak, June 3, 2013 (Blic) - Citizens of 15 towns in Serbia will be able to contact Ombudsman on Skype, among other ways of reaching his office, the deputy Ombudsman Milos Jankovic said in Cacak today.

The initiative "Promotion of human and minority rights through more intensive contact of Ombudsman with citizens" will enable citizens from 15 towns and cities across Serbia to establish contact with the Ombudsman, to get assistance and get informed on the right address of authorities and institutions they need to approach in order to solve their problem.

The project is implemented in cooperation with 15 libraries in the country, including the one in Cacak. Jankovic also said that since its outset, the Ombudsman's office has processed 250 complaints of citizens from Morava District, out of which 80 only during last year.

According to Jankovic, as of next week, June 10, the citizens will be able to directly contact the Ombudsman's office using Skype in the City Library twice a week.
