PETKOVIC: LEAVE MEDIA TO JOURNALISTS

Belgrade, July 1, 2013 (Akter) - Culture and Media Minister Bratislav Petkovic says that it is important, in the context of Euro-integration, to ensure the new legal framework for media operations and to leave the regulation of the media sphere to journalists and their media.

According to him, the media should be freed from political and business influences, but must take the responsibility for every word spoken or written, making sure they do not violate human rights and freedoms.
