B92 AND VERAN MATIC WIN REGIOANL AWARD
Belgrade, July 5, 2013 (B92) - B92 Editor in Chief Veran Matic has been honored with the "Region's Person Number 1" award in the field of media, while B92 is "The Best Media-Information Company" for "unbiased and truthful reporting, independence, objectivity, creativity and great programming content".
The 28th consecutive "Selection of the Best Managers and Companies in Southeastern and Central Europe" was held in Sarajevo, Bosnia-Herzegovina, and was attended by about 400 managers from 14 European countries.
The award was presented by well-known journalist Zekerijah Smajic.
The ceremony also announced Verica Kalanovic, Serbia's minister of regional development and local self-government as "the best minister" and Kragujevac Mayor Veroljub Stevanovic as "the best mayor".
20 awards were given for the best in the business, in different categories - small, medium and large.
