RBA SESSION ON WEDNESDAY

Belgrade, August 5, 2013 (Beta) - The Deputy Chairman of the RBA Council Goran Karadzic said today that RBA would decide on the allocation of the national and regional frequencies at the RBA session scheduled for Wednesday.

Applicants for the frequency for national coverage of TV program are two TV stations - TV Nova and TV Kopernikus Svet Plus 3.

The applicants for regional licenses are TV Jedinstvo and TV P from Novi Pazar, TV Telemark from Cacak, Moja TV from Belgrade and Radio M from Knjazevac.

The RBA decision is expected to be made on the basis of the evaluation of business statements of the candidates, audience ratings of the stations, their experiences in the field of broadcasting and predominant activity, the contributions made to the improvement of domestic broadcasting sphere, warranties of the stations for greater quality and variety of program offer etc. The conduct of the candidates, in terms of previous conduct and behavior during the competition, transparency of ownership structure and origin of the capital will be evaluated also.
