SOLUTION FOR THE PUBLIC SERVICE BROADCASTERS BY THE END OF THE YEAR
Belgrade, October 3, 2013 (Media centar) - "Ministry of Culture and Media hopes to find a model for a stable, sufficient and independent funding of public services", Culture Minister Ivan Tasovac said.
According to the draft media laws on public service broadcasters, RTS and RTV would be financed from the state budget during the next two years. As the Minister said, the financing from the state budget is not a permanent solution.
Tasovac noted that after these two years, more permanent financing solution would be found, which would be in the line with the Europe practice.
