DAVENPORT: CORRUPTION CASES IN COURTS, NOT IN HEADLINES

Belgrade, October 7, 2013 (Media Center) - The EU does not have new conditions in negotiations with Serbia, the EU Council determined them last year, which is in fact a decision of all member states, Head of the EU Delegation to Serbia Michael Davenport told daily "Politika".

He said the precondition for a successful fight against corruption, it was necessary to have corruption cases brought to court, not only in media headlines.

"We have expected much from the implementation of the Media Strategy, which was brought two years ago, but unfortunately, none of the media laws provided by the document has been adopted yet", Davenport said.
