Europe About Reforms in Serbia

The conclusions of the EU Council of Ministers, which was yesterday confirmed by the European Council, cites where Serbia "should pay special attention" when it comes to the internal reform of the state and society .

Explicitly specified :

The rule of law (in particular the judicial reform and the fight against corruption and organized crime)

The reform of public administration

Independence of key institutions

Media freedom

Further improvement of the business environment

Further improvement of social inclusion of the vulnerable groups, especially Roma

Effective implementation of the law on the protection of minorities (in particular ethnic and sexual minorities)

Continued constructive engagement in regional cooperation and strengthening relations with surroundings countries

Smooth and transparent implementation of the Protocol to the Stabilization and Association Agreement.
