First Digital TV Signal From 2014

Belgrade, November 18, 2013 (Danas) - The first phase of the shutdown of the analogue television signal in Serbia and the transition to digital is expected in the second half of 2014. The key answer to this question really lies in finances. If today we had the precise funding data, we could have the exact date, so it all depends on the speed of providing funding, said  for "Danas" Stefan Lazarevic, State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign and Internal Trade and Telecommunication.

When asked how many phases will the transition to a digital signal have, Lazarevic said that the working group in charge of the Plan for the Transition From Analogue to Digital TV Signal will  intensify work soon and that he expects to know within a month or two exactly how will the shutdown be carried out.
