Press Council rejected the appeal by the Governor

Belgrade, January 27, 2014 (Danas) - The Complaints Commission of the Press Council believes that the media did not violate the provisions of the Code of Journalists of Serbia by carrying news on privileges of the daughter of the Governor of the National Bank of Serbia Jorgovanka Tabakovic.

Members of the Commission, stated that the complaint on media coverage made by Jorgovanka Tabakovic is unfounded and that they have reported in accordance with the rules of the Code.

The Complaints Commission said that media have reported all relevant information and reactions in relation to the published news item, whose truth no one has disputed.
