FOUR MILLION FOR JOURNALISTS

12. 03. 2014 (Politika; by G.O.) - The City Council of Cacak decided yesterday that four million dinars, the amount earmarked in the city budget this year for co-financing of projects in the field of public information, will be distributed to seven media outlets.

These are: TV Galaksija 32 for the program "TV Informator" (1.4 million), "Cacanski glas" for the program "Glas lokalne samouprave" ("Voice of Local Self-Government") (450,000), Radio Cacak for the show "O gradu, iz grada, za Cacane" ("About the City, From the City, For the Citizens of Cacak") (400,000), TV Telemark for "Telemark Vesti" ("Telemark News") (650,000), "Moja" TV for the program "Gradonacelnik vam odgovara" ("Mayor Answers Your Questions") (100,000), "Ozon press" for the program "Cacak danas" ("Cacak Today") (500,000) and " Glas zapadne Srbije " for "Dnevne vesti" ("Daily News") (500,000).

A total of 27 applications were submitted to the public competition, while the funds are significantly lower than last year when the media outlets in Cacak were granted 6.3 million dinars.
