CAMPAIGN ON MEDIA LITERACY LAUNCHED

Belgrade, 25.3.2014. (Danas; by D.D.) - The campaign of the Media Coalition with the title 'Don't Let Them Spin You', dedicated to media literacy, was lauched yesterday with broadcasting of radio and TV spots throughout Serbia with the aim to foster, especially among the youth, a critical view towards media content and the ability to differentiate information from entertainment and professional from unprofessional journalism.

„If we cannot change the media, we can at least change the perception of the media, and that will reflect back on the media. We should think with our own heads, and not with the TV set and Facebook", said Dinko Gruhonjić, president of the Independent Journalists' Association of Vojvodina.
