CONFIRMED FINE FOR INSULTING JOURNALIST
28. 03. 2014 (Alo!) - The Appelate Court in Belgrade confirmed the first instance judgment of the Municipal Court in Valjevo according to which the Deputy Mayor Dragoljub Krstić has to pay a fine for insulting journalist Darija Ranković.
In November 2013, according to the judgment in the first instance, Krstić was to pay a fine of 80,000 dinars and court costs of 95,000 dinars. Krstić, who belongs to the citizens' group "Victory" ("Pobeda"), in December 2012, in the capacity of deputy mayor, insulted the then editor of regional Radio "Patak" at the session of the city parliament with the following words: "Get out of here, you scum."
