UNS: "NOVOSTI" OWNED BY STATE AGAIN?

Belgrade, 02.04.2014 (Danas; by: D.D.) - After the new government is formed, companies "Štamparija Borba," "Novosti," and "Borba" will be merged into one company, it was agreed at a joint meeting of the supervisory and executive boards of the companies "Novosti" and "Štamparija Borba" and trade union representatives from both companies, according to the Journalists' Association of Serbia (UNS).

According to UNS, the initiative to create one unified company "Novosti" was launched by the First Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučic at a meeting with general directors of "Novosti" and "Štamparija Borba" and the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of "Štamparija Borba" on 28 March.
