Google virtual walk now available in Serbia

24.7.2014 (Tanjug; B92) - The Google Street View service has become available in Serbia, the U.S. internet giant has announced.

As of Thursday, users could take a virtual walk through the streets of Belgrade, Niš and Novi Sad, "and find certain locations more easily," Tanjug reported.

Special Google vehicles are currently roaming the streets of other cities and villages in Serbia, in order to film the sites and make them available via the Street View service for PC, tablet and smartphone views, Google said in a statement.

Street View is a technology featured in Google Maps that was launched in May 2007, and has since become available in 56 countries across the world.
