17 YEARS OF FONET AGENCY

Belgrade, February 7, 2011 (FoNet) - News agency FoNet marks today 17 years of existence and work, as the first private and independent agency in Serbia. FoNet stated that they were the first agency operating in accordance with the standards of professional and objective journalism in Serbia.

FoNet welcomes its seventeenth year of existence with established and well known multimedia concept of news agency production, which in addition to traditional sources of information, written, audio, photo and television, including Internet TV FoNetweb.tv, which is unique in Serbia and the region.

FoNet cooperates with several international media, including Reuters, AP, ANSA, EPA, DPA, EFE, BBC and Voice of America, as well as with private agencies from the former Yugoslav republics.

FoNet is a member of the Association of Private News Agencies in Southeastern Europe (APNA), the Media Association of Serbia and the South East Europe Media Organization (SEEMO).
