POLITIKA 25 PER CENT IN CROAT HANDS: NACIONAL

ZAGREB, June 3, 2002 – Zagreb Nacional writes today that Serbs are unaware that Croats Ninoslav Pavic and Ivic Pasalic have become owners of 25 per cent of the largest media company in Serbia. In the spring of 1999, Ninoslav Pavic signed a contract with the German concern WAZ by which he became half owner of all WAZ’s projects in the Balkans. Believing that Politika had been sold only to the German branch of WAZ, Serbs are still unaware that one quarter of their largest media house is in the hands of Ninoslav Pavic, a Croat.
