Media Freedom and Journalist Courage

BELGRADE, June 20, 2002 - A round table on media freedom and journalist courage was held yesterday in Belgrade's Hotel Intercontinental. The editors in attendance commented on the state of the media and demanded that all state media be privatised, all sources of information be opened up and laws on broadcast and information be adopted without delay.
