Broadcast Law in Parliament Tomorrow

BELGRADE, July, 1, 2002 - The Serbian Parliament will begin an extraordinary session tomorrow. On the agenda will be the Broadcasting Bill submitted by the Serbian Government. The legislation is expected to finally regulate the use of frequencies for radio and television broadcasters which to date has been unregulated, providing fertile ground for the establishment of more than a hundred illegal radio and television stations.
