Odalovic Calls on Kostunica to Declare Himself

BELGRADE, July 16, 2002 - Free Europe correspondent Natasa Odalovic has demanded that Yugoslav President Vojislav Kostunica declare himself on claims made by his media advisor, Aleksandar Tijanic. Odalovic was questioned on Friday by Belgrade police over an article published in Belgrade daily Danas under the title "Cage in Search of a Bird" in which she wrote about accusations made by Tijanic against the Serbian Government. Odalovic, who made her demand in an open letter forwarded to B92, has a recording of her conversation with Tijanic.
